Slitronia Joins Baltic Union in Adopting New Currency - The Baltic Schilling

On March 8th, Slitronia proudly announced its adoption of the newly created Baltic schilling. We were joined in this decision by our fellow member states of the Baltic Union - Esgeldia, Waldreich, Taileria, and Kalia. The banknotes of this new currency are beautifully designed with various locations found throughout the Baltic states.

In addition to adopting the new currency, we have decided to keep our old currency, the Slitronian kroon, still in use. While Revalia, one of our member states, has decided not to accept the Baltic schilling, we remain committed to working together towards the goals of the Baltic Union.

As a cultural organization created in 2021, the Baltic Union seeks to strengthen the cultural ties between the Baltic states. We believe that the adoption of a common currency is a significant step towards this goal.

Overall, the adoption of the Baltic schilling is a momentous occasion for Slitronia and the Baltic Union. We look forward to the positive impact this new currency will have on our economies and cultural ties.
