The 2024 Micronational Olympic Federation (MOF) eGames, hosted this year by Slitronia, reached its conclusion a few days ago, marking the end of spirited cyber-athletic competition among 18 nations represented by 22 cyletes (cyber athletes) across 11 events.

This year's iteration of the eGames notably pivoted towards prioritizing efficiency over presentation. Changes included transitioning from a single elimination format to a Swiss system, and the omission of opening and closing ceremonies.

Tyler Mullins, the vice president of MOF, lauded the event's organization, stating, "So while the games weren't run in a typical manner with round robins being the prominent competition method rather than a bracket and there being only one round in Agar.io and Tetris instead of a preliminary and final round, I think I speak for the entire commissioner council when I congratulate Johannes I of Slitronia for the first well-run esports games in FOUR YEARS! This is the first time in that timeframe that the games were started and ended in two months."

The final medal tally showcased the prowess of participating nations:

  1. New Athens: 4 gold, 2 silver, 2 bronze
  2. Ladonia: 4 gold, 1 bronze
  3. Curnon: 1 gold, 1 bronze
  4. Corsa, Firburg: 1 gold
  5. Slitronia: 3 silver, 1 bronze
  6. Saspearian: 3 silver
  7. Bukistan, Wilderiocht: 1 silver, 1 bronze
  8. Rovia: 1 silver
  9. Onopolissia, Stret Merdhin: 1 bronze
  10. Fraildenese State, Mabruenia, New English Republic, New Rubix, Parklandia, Venae: 0 medals
